Welcome to the Cincinnati Paralegal Association Website.  Through this website, you can learn about the CPA, contact our Board of Directors, read a sample of our newsletter and find links to information you may need for your job.

Our Mission

The purpose and goals of the CPA are to:

(a) Promote the paralegal profession.

(b) Provide seminars for the continuing legal education of paralegals.

(c) Act as a forum for the exchange of information.

(d) Promote and support professional standards.

(e) Communicate with the legal community and the general public.

(f) Participate in local and national issues that affect the profession.

(g) Engage in projects, solicitations and other activities which the Board of Directors may deem necessary or desirable.

The Cincinnati Paralegal Association, an Ohio nonprofit corporation, is committed to the professional development of the individual paralegal and the paralegal profession, the establishment and support of professional standards, and the advancement of paralegals as an integral and distinctive partner in the delivery of legal services.

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

PAUL PURDUE TO SPEAK IN AUGUST


Guest speaker for the August General Membership Meeting will be Paul Purdue of Attorney Computer Systems.  Mr. Purdue has been a legal technology consultant since 1980.  A self-proclaimed “ham”, his presentations are not only interesting and informative, but also very entertaining.  Mr. Purdue’s topic will be “The PaperLESS Office.”  Join us on August 21 at noon at the Cincinnati Bar Association.
