Are you a fan of true crime and investigation? If so, you won’t want miss our February General Membership Meeting, which will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 12:00 pm at the Taft Center.
We are beyond thrilled to announce that our speaker for February will be Alexandria Goddard, a true crime blogger from Columbus, Ohio. Alex is featured in a new documentary, Roll Red Roll, which is based on the Steubenville High School rape case that took place in Steubenville, Ohio in 2012. It identifies Alexandria prominently, as the person who first brought the case to public attention. The documentary looks into the Steubenville High School rape case and also documents Alexandra's investigation and documentation of the crimes through her true crime blog. Alex provides social media analysis and consulting for legal professionals, as well as training for parents and educators. She is a public speaker regarding her role in the Steubenville rape case and she is an advocate and an activist. She has over 25 years of combined experience in legal investigations, fraud/risk management investigations and social media analysis. Her expertise includes utilizing social media to build social and personal profiles of witnesses, jurors and litigants while researching publicly accessible data to analyze social media presence and activities. She has appeared on Dr. Phil, 20/20, Piers Morgan, Democracy Now, Jane Velez-Mitchell and a multitude of print and web-based articles regarding her social media analysis expertise. She is also a designated expert witness on the subject matter of social media analysis.
