Are you a fan of true crime and investigation?   If so, you won’t want miss our February General Membership Meeting, which will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 12:00 pm at the Taft Center.
 
Our speaker for February will be Alexandria Goddard, a true crime blogger from Columbus, Ohio.  Alex is featured in a new documentary, Roll Red Roll, which is based on the Steubenville High School rape case that took place in Steubenville, Ohio in 2012.  

Alex provides social media analysis and consulting for legal professionals, as well as training for parents and educators. Her expertise includes utilizing social media to build social and personal profiles of witnesses, jurors and litigants while researching publicly accessible data to analyze social media presence and activities.

The Cincinnati Paralegal Association will host its annual Student Reception at Graydon on Thursday, April 16, 2020, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. The reception offers paralegal students from area schools a unique opportunity to learn about the CPA and network with active practicing paralegals. Membership in the CPA is not required to attend and all paralegal students and faculty are welcome.

This year’s reception will feature a panel of paralegal professionals, working for local law firms and corporations, who will share their experiences and knowledge gained during the course of their careers. The panel will offer valuable insight into one of the fastest growing professions of the last several decades. The panelists this year will include Kyle Black, Hanna Coleman, Heidi Schneider, Grace Witte and Hailee Mauney.

Please join the Cincinnati Paralegal Association on Cinco de Mayo for our 37th Annual Meeting and Election of Officers which will take place on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:30 pm at Graydon. This is the most important (and most fun) event of the year. The evening will begin with cocktails followed by the election of officers. We will then have a dinner, which consists of appetizers, a Taco Bar, a Salad Bar and desserts!  The Annual Awards will then be presented.

The cost of attendance is $30.00 per member or $40.00 per non-member. Registrations and payments must be received by the RSVP deadline of May 1, 2019.
