About this event
The Hamilton County Municipal Court handles misdemeanor criminal cases, traffic violations, and civil disputes up to $15,000, including small claims and landlord-tenant issues. It also conducts preliminary hearings for felony cases and oversees probation for
misdemeanor offenders. Additionally, the court processes evictions and DUI cases, ensuring legal resolutions within its jurisdiction.
This meeting pending approved by the Ohio State Bar Association for one continuing legal education credit hour.
Judge Guy Guckenberger graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. He began his career in private practice and
continued for 28 years. He has also served as a Cincinnati Council member and as Hamilton County Commissioner. Guckenberger served as judge for the Hamilton County Municipal Court, Ohio First District Court of Appeals and has served as a visiting judge for the Common Pleas Court. More to come!
