About this event

AI tools are increasingly used in legal practice, but ethical obligations remain unchanged.  This ethics program explores how attorneys and paralegals can responsibly use AI while maintaining client confidentiality, accuracy, proper supervision, and compliance with professional standards.

Jonathan D. Thiel, Attorney, Strauss & Troy

 

Jonathan (Johnny) D. Thiel focuses his practice in family law, child custody, divorce, guardianships, and all things domestic relations. Johnny is currently admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the State of Ohio.

Johnny is passionate about family law as it gives him the opportunity to work directly with great people going through some of the most difficult times in their lives. Johnny prides himself on being a problem solver and advocate for his clients, whether that be in the courtroom or in an alternate dispute resolution environment.

 

Johnny earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing Communications and Sports Administration from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky and his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. While in law school, Johnny was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board and the Alternate Dispute Resolution Team. He is currently the assistant Mock Trial coach at Covington Catholic High School, his alma mater, and a member of the Kentucky State Bar Association, Northern Kentucky Bar Association, and the Northern Kentucky Bar Association Lawyers Living Well Committee.

 

Johnny is from Crestview Hills, Kentucky and has been a life-long Northern Kentucky resident. Outside the office, Johnny enjoys spending time reading, golfing, running, cooking, and relaxing with his family.

 

Pending OSBA 1 hr CLE Credit


Any member may attend for free.  Nonmembers may attend for a cost of $5.
