Please join the Cincinnati Paralegal Association for our September General Membership Meeting, which will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 12:00 pm at the Taft Center.
We are thrilled to announce that our speaker for September will be Michael Flannery, a national stand-up comedian and former Channel 9 newsman. Michael is the Public Information Officer and “Storyteller in Chief” for the Goodwill in Greater Cincinnati and has previously spoken to the CPA to give us a behind the scenes look at the many services that Goodwill offers. However, his presentation to us this month will be a little different.
Michael will speaking to us this month about a topic close to his heart: Disabilities in the Workplace. Michael’s 21-year-old daughter, Grace, has Down Syndrome and he is all too familiar with the obstacles in her path of finding a career. Together, Michael and Grace have done their part to increase awareness of Down Syndrome and show why labels don’t define who people really are. We can’t wait for Michael’s return visit to the CPA and look forward to his always entertaining and enlightening presentation.
