The Cincinnati Paralegal Association is excited to invite you to virtually attend our August General Membership Meeting, which has been scheduled for Friday, August 28, 2020 at 12:00 pm via Zoom.
We are super excited to announce that our speaker for August will be attorney Robert Bilott with Taft. Rob is an environmental attorney and is well known from the lawsuits he filed against Dupont on behalf of plaintiffs from West Virginia. Rob has spent more than 20 years litigating hazardous dumping of the chemicals Perfluorooctanic acid (PFOA) and Perflourooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS).
Robert Bilott is the author of the acclaimed memoir Exposure: Poisoned Water, Corporate Greed, and One Lawyer's Twenty-Year Battle Against DuPont, published in 2019. Bilott's story also became the basis for Dark Waters, a 2019 film staring Mark Ruffalo as Bilott, and Anne Hathaway as Bilott's wife, Sara Barlage.
