Program Description: Legal Ethics Review for Paralegals
Heidi Dorn, Dinsmore & Shohl, will be presenting on the Legal Ethics Review for Paralegals. This presentation will provide an update and review of both paralegal and lawyer ethical obligations. The seminar will delve into how technological changes have affected the practice of law and how to comply with the ethics rules. Technologies such as AI and Zoom offer practitioners opportunities to streamline their practices, but also have pitfalls. This session will address how paralegals can stay abreast of changing technologies, and the implications of failing to do so. The program also will focus on issues involving proper supervision, the unauthorized practice of law and other ethical obligations.
